Situated on one of the of the most beautiful lakeshores beaches in the world. This is an extraordinary place waiting to be discovered. On the palm fringed shore of Lake Malawi, Club Makakloa awaits. You may deepen your tan on an exquisite sandy beach, or don mask and snorkel and discover the technicolour world of the Lake's tropical fish. Scuba dive or tie a pareo round our hips. Everything ordinary and routine was banished when you arrived here. Some come to play golf among the baobabs or sail in an inland sea. Others aspire to do nothing more than sip cocktails at the beach bar or cool off in the sparkling pool. This is the ultimate luxury - absolute freedom. Come and go and dress in casual comfort. A candlelit dinner for two on the pooldeck. Tennis or squash courts are hidden away in the tropical gardens.
For the watersport enthusiast the Lake is unsurpassed. The unimpeded stretches of clear safe water are a paradise for waterskiers and board sailors. For those who thrill at the joy of sailing the Lake is a pure delight. The Dive Centre has a full range of dive gear for hire and conducts exciting dives in Lake Malawi National Park waters, on rock reefs, or dive sites around Boadzulu Island.
For those who enjoy boating there are various paddle craft and canoes for fun times. Of course at the other end of the scale Club Makakola's own eight berth Bayliner luxury motorised boat is available for charter. powerboat watersports such as parasailing, water-skiing, wakesnake are also available as well as board sailing.
There are also many interesting excursions available from Club Makakola such as Liwonde National park, Cape Maclear is a World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful coves on the Lakeshore. Zomba Mountain offers superb walks and unsurpassed views. Do everything or nothing.... at Club Makakola the choice is always yours.

R8200 per adult sharing a double room (7 nights) + R4200 for additional 7 nights

Accommodation is a chalet with a double room and a small adjoining room with bunk beds for the children.
Includes airfare departing every Sunday, departure taxes from Johannesburg, Breakfast and Dinner, Non motorised watersports

Taxes :

Please make provision for approx R20 domestic taxes to be paid directly at the airport for each domestic departure in Malawi, and US$20 international taxes to be paid on final departure back to Johannesburg.

Diving :

Approximately R250 per person per dive.
