Diving :

A dominating volcanic landscape creates a unique backdrop for you to discover one of the world’s best and least known dive destinations. The year-round diving of Manado is all about amazing variety and exotic surroundings. The deep seas give excellent average visibility (25m). They are also home to many unusual species, for example the prehistoric fish "coelacanth" as well as some household names: shark, turtle, eagle rays, napoleon wrasse, even dugong and orca! The majority of sites are conveniently accessed within one hour from your hotel and yet Manado’s location means that the sites are never crowded with other divers. Most of the reefs of the Bunaken National Marine Park are rich and unspoilt, with pristine and abundant soft coral and fish life in huge concentration. The night diving in the park is spectacular, rare creatures are round every corner, there’s a WWII wreck in day range and a house reef at the Tasik Ria Resort for those who just can’t get enough of Manado diving.

The Bunaken National Marine Park consists of 6 islands : Bunaken, Manado Tua, Nain, Small Nain, Montehage, and Siladen, as well as a part of the North Sulawesi mainland. Diving in and around Bunaken is mostly wall diving and drift diving, but also includes several beautiful coral slopes. There are more than 25 genuine dive sites within the park. The variety of both fish and soft coral is outstanding, making this area one of the top places in the world with regards to biodiversity and sheer numbers of fish. In addition, tucked away on the precipitous walls you find an abundance of invertebrates and small marine life forms. 

Resort :

Tasik Ria Resort, an intimate seaside boutique style property with 34 rooms, is located on Tanawangko Bay, on the north west coast of Manado, only 20 kilometers from Bunaken National Park. The resort is 33-kilometers from Sam Ratulangi International Airport where you will be greeted by our hotel staff and transported by air-conditioned bus to the resort.

POOL VIEW ROOMS : Are located in our two-story buildings (total of 5 buildings, each with 4 rooms; 2 below and 2 above) surrounding our free-form lagoon pool. It is no doubt the nicest pool in Manado. Guests may enjoy the pool scenery and landscape from the comfort of their balconies.

DINING : Our Bunaken Restaurant offers casual all day dining featuring Indonesian and European Cuisine. Weather permitting, BBQ parties will be held on the beach. Our Sunset Jetty Bar that overlooks the Manado Tua Island offers a panoramic sunset view, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The Pool Bar serves tropical drinks and snacks all day long.
