SPECIALITY COURSES
 MEDIC FIRST AID : Prior to awarding an Advanced Plus rating to a diver, he / she must have successfully completed a Medic First Aid Course including CPR within the past three years.  | Teaches CPR and first aid in an integrated system as used by
EMTs, but at a lay- persons’ level | | Non-divers may take Medic First Aid too | | Meets CPR and first aid requirements for PADI Rescue Diver
and other programmes |

SPECIALITY DIVER PROGRAMME : - Two to four Speciality Dives (varies)
- Emphasis on learning during actual open water dives
- First dive of each speciality credited as corresponding Advanced Open
- Water dives
- Qualifies you to independently plan and make dives in the speciality area
